Requests and extensions often need a yes from someone who doesn't work in Fill — a manager's manager, a CFO, a CTO. Until now that meant screenshotting the request, emailing it out, and coming back to record the answer by hand, with the actual decision living in someone's inbox.
Whoever submits a request can now name the executive who decides. An administrator reviews it as before and selects Send for approval — only that person is emailed, with a private link. They open a read-only page, phone-friendly, with no login and no access to anything else in Fill, and choose Approve or Decline, adding a note if they decline.
An approval is the final decision: no second administrator approval, and the request moves on. A decline comes back with the note attached. Either way the chain is on the record and attributed — who submitted, who sent it out, who decided and when — on the request itself and in the approvals list. Assignment extensions work the same way.
Executive approval is configured per organisation alongside the approval workflow; ask your Fill contact to switch it on.
